Man, Deborah sorry for the several month delay. I did not realize that you responded to my last note. You can but most if not all of the wines off the internet. If you are uncomfortable with that process try Cloverleaf Wine in Royal Oak. As for Tom Natocci; Eli Wine is also in Royal Oak, but Eli has a well deserved reputation as being smarmy. If you don't mind kicking out the cash, Papa Joe's is the place to be. Unfortunately since the Birmingham store lost its sommelier (Bill _____) who is now at the super far out Rochester Hills store. Bill is excellent. The new guy at the Birmingham store is kind of creepy, defensive and condescending. Again, sorry for the delay.
Deborah, if you have not done so, try the white wines from france's loire valley region. The dominant grape is Pouilly-Fumé. Didier Dagueneau is one of my favorite producers. There are some excellent values available in this region. If you are stuck on rieslings, Dr. Loosen produces an excellent late harvest riesling (desert wine).

Where might I find some of these French wines?
I know that my question is rather delayed.
Good luck,
Michael
